I became involved in the cellular phone accessory business after I purchased my first cell phone case in 2004. The case that I purchased was one that clipped to the belt. It was awkward and very uncomfortable, so I had an idea...

My cell phone should be strapped around my arm, and the faceplate should be visiable. I decided to alter the case to fit around my arm. My wife asked me to make her one to fit around her wrist. That's how the "Nia J Style" was born.

My daughter Aricca was going to a party and she asked me to make her case fit around her ankle. That's how the "Ricca Style" was born.

I had another idea to add a metal eyelet to the case which allowed me to add a removable hand or necklace strap accessory.

While shopping at my local grocery store I noticed a lady had a cell phone charm hanging from the top of her cell phone. I thought... I can also add a cell phone charm to the metal eyelet, and I thought what if I add a loop at the bottom of the case so I can add another cell phone charm. That's how the Jewelry Strap Loop Attachments™ was born.

The strap and case were made as one unit. I decided to make the strap removable from the case. Then I added a belt loop to the back of the case. Now, I was faced with one problem. How to make my strap fit around the arm, wrist, leg and ankle? I didn’t want to make a lot of different strap sizes. That's when I came up with a cut to fit strap. That's how the "Body Loop Strap™" was born.

Now I needed to come up with a name for my cell phone case. I had the idea to use the initials (cell phone case strap) = CPC STRAP ™ .That's how the CPC Strap™ was born.
